The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.
